Specifically, individuals from the Philippines, Vietnam, Indonesia, Nepal, Myanmar, and China seeking mid- to long-term visas will need to undergo TB screening and obtain a clearance certificate before applying for the visa.

This screening involves a medical exam and chest X-ray, and the certificate is required when applying for the Certificate of Eligibility (COE) or visa from a *Designated Panel Clinics.
